Last Updated: January 25, 2026

Your Data Rights Matter

At LowCarbGlow.com, I take your privacy seriously especially if you’re visiting from the European Union. This page explains your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and how I protect your personal information.

If you have questions about anything on this page, please don’t hesitate to contact me. I’m here to help.

What Is GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a comprehensive data protection law that applies to individuals located in the European Economic Area (EEA), which includes all EU member states plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway.

If you’re accessing LowCarbGlow.com from the EEA, you have specific rights regarding how your personal data is collected, used, stored, and protected. This statement explains those rights and how you can exercise them.

Your Rights Under GDPR

As an EU resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

1. Right to Access

You have the right to know what personal information I hold about you. You can request a copy of your data at any time, and I’ll provide it in a clear, accessible format.

2. Right to Rectification

If any of your personal information is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected. Just let me know what needs to be updated, and I’ll fix it promptly.

3. Right to Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten”)

You can request that I delete your personal data under certain circumstances, such as:

  • When the data is no longer necessary for the purposes it was collected
  • When you withdraw consent and there’s no other legal basis for processing
  • When you object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds
  • When the data has been unlawfully processed

4. Right to Restrict Processing

You can request that I limit how I use your personal data in certain situations, such as when you’re contesting the accuracy of the data or when you’ve objected to processing.

5. Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. You can also request that I transfer your data directly to another service provider where technically feasible.

6. Right to Object

You can object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes at any time. If you object, I will stop processing your data for those purposes immediately.

7. Right to Withdraw Consent

If I’m processing your data based on your consent (such as for newsletter subscriptions), you can withdraw that consent at any time. This won’t affect any processing that happened before you withdrew consent.

8. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe I’m not handling your data properly, you have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority. However, I’d really appreciate it if you’d contact me first so I can try to resolve the issue directly.

  • Your full name and email address
  • Which right you’re exercising (access, deletion, etc.)
  • Specific details about your request
  • Proof of identity (if needed for security purposes)

I will respond to your request within 30 days. If your request is complex or I receive multiple requests, I may need an additional 60 days but I’ll let you know within the first 30 days if that’s the case.

There’s no fee for exercising your rights unless your request is clearly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive.

I take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction, including:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission
  • Secure hosting with regular security updates
  • Limited access to personal data by authorized personnel only

However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. While I strive to protect your data, I cannot guarantee absolute security.
